If your phone shows signs of life even after it is bricked, it is never too late to unbrick and bring your phone back to life. So dont panic and be calm.
If your phone is not an Ace but any other Samsung Anrdoid Device you can follow the same method but make sure you download the corresponding stock rom for your device.You can google it to find the ROM for your device.
Step 1: You need Odin v4.38 flasher for flashing your bricked phone. Also download these usb drivers in case Odin doesn't detect your mobile and install them (Recommended to install by default)
Step 2 : Download the firmware required for flashing. The latest 2.3.4 gingerbread rom for ace can be downloaded here. Gingerbread 2.3.4. Password is sampro.pl .
You may have to download the required rom according to the region you live in the world.
Step 3: Now unzipping the file you will be getting a md5 file with a big file name referring to the firmware version etc. You will be using this file for flashing.
Step 4: You also need an ops file for the flashing process. Cooper.ops
Step 5: Open Odin flashtool.
Step 6: If you have downloaded the firmware as separate packages then follow the below steps:
Note: The above given link is for one package flashing so those who used the above firmware can ignore these set of steps.
Multifile Method:
1)Select from extracted archive: OPS-OPS, Boot-APBOOT, Phone-MODEM, PDA-CODE, CSC-CSC (leave EFS and One Package empty)
2)Connect your phone via USB into PC
3)When the screen is turned on hold POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME and wait until the phone enters the Download Mode
4) If ODIN detects and recognises your phone, it should light up the first square to the left side
5) Press "Start" button and wait, the process should take ~5 minutes
6)If all goes well your phone should reboot automatically
7)Square should change the color to blue and display "PASS" it means that flashing process was successful and we have the newest firmware
8)Disconnect your phone
9)Turn off your phone
10)Insert your SIM Card and SD Card again
11)Turn on your phone
12) Now you have brought your phone back to life.
Step 7: One package:
For this all you have to do is click ops and select the ops file and tick the one package checkbox and click one package button and select the md5 file with the long file name and follow from step 2 of the Multifile method.
In case there is a bootloop.Turn the phone off and press and hold the menu and power button down. Wait until you get the recovery menu. Use volume key up and down to navigate options and press menu button to select options. Wipe factory data and Wipe cache. Then select Reboot.
The phone will reboot normally.
For those who have problem with flashing as ODIN DOESN'T DETECT YOUR DEVICE INSTALL THE USB DRIVERS IN THE FIRST POST AND THEN TRY THE PROCESS.
