How to Unbrick Samsung Galaxy Ace or any Samsung Android mobile using Odin

If your phone shows signs of life even after it is bricked,  it is never too late to unbrick and bring your phone back to life. So dont panic and be calm.
If your phone is not an Ace but any other Samsung Anrdoid Device you can follow the same method but make sure you download the corresponding stock rom for your device. You can google it to find the ROM for your device.

Step 1: You need Odin v4.38 flasher for flashing your bricked phone. Also download these usb drivers in case Odin doesn't detect your mobile and install them (Recommended to install by default)
Step 2 : Download the firmware required for flashing. The latest 2.3.4 gingerbread rom for ace can be downloaded here. Gingerbread 2.3.4. Password is sampro.pl  .
You may have to download the required rom according to the region you live in the world.
Step 3: Now unzipping the file you will be getting a md5 file with a big file name referring to the firmware version etc. You will be using this file for flashing.
Step 4: You also need an ops file for the flashing process. Cooper.ops
Step 5: Open Odin flashtool.
Step 6: If you have downloaded the firmware as separate packages then follow the below steps:
Note: The above given link is for one package flashing so those who used the above firmware can ignore these set of steps.

Multifile Method:

1)Select from extracted archive: OPS-OPS, Boot-APBOOT, Phone-MODEM, PDA-CODE, CSC-CSC (leave EFS and One Package empty)
2)Connect your phone via USB into PC
3)When the screen is turned on hold POWER+VOLUME DOWN+HOME and wait until the phone enters the  Download Mode
4) If ODIN detects and recognises your phone, it should light up the first square to the left side
5) Press "Start" button and wait, the process should take ~5 minutes
6)If all goes well your phone should reboot automatically
7)Square should change the color to blue and display "PASS" it means that flashing process was successful    and we have the newest firmware
8)Disconnect your phone
9)Turn off your phone
10)Insert your SIM Card and SD Card again
11)Turn on your phone
12) Now you have brought your phone back to life.
Step 7: One package:
For this all you have to do is click ops and select the ops file and tick the one package checkbox and click one package button and select the md5 file with the long file name and follow from step 2 of the Multifile method.

In case there is a bootloop.Turn the phone off and press and hold the menu and power button down. Wait until you get the recovery menu. Use volume key up and down to navigate options and press menu button to select options. Wipe factory data and Wipe cache. Then select Reboot.
The phone will reboot normally.

For those who have problem with flashing as ODIN DOESN'T DETECT YOUR DEVICE INSTALL THE USB DRIVERS IN THE FIRST POST AND THEN TRY THE PROCESS.

Feedbacks are welcome :)

How to flash your bricked sony ericsson w8 or sony ericsson(SE) other models using Flashtool

If your phone still shows signs of life then there is great chances of recovering it........ So dont panic and be calm.
Step 1: Download Flashtool
Step 2: extract the zip file to C drive.
Step 3: you need java runtime environment to run flashtool. if you have it installed in your system already you can  skip this step. if you dont have you can find it easily in java website.(google it)
Step 4: also have SE companion installed and updated. (for latest drivers)
Step 5: now download the required firmware file you want. usually for w8 its better to flash with a x8 firmware.
here's the link for that stock rom X8 Shakira ROM.
You can get any other file as well to flash with.
Step 6: now copy the downloaded *.ftf file to firmwares folder of flashtool folder you extracted to C drive
Note: There's another step after this which many forget to mention in other blogs and websites(no offense): open the drivers folder in flashtool and install the file ggsetup-2.2.0.11. Its called Gordon gate. Without this flashtool wont recognise your W8 or any SE phone other than the xperia X8,X10.
Step 7: Now open flashtool.
Step 8: Click the highlighted flash icon.
Step 9: Now your firmware should be displayed.
A screenshot of how it should be.

Step 10: select OK.
Step 11: It will ask you to insert your xperia in. Now turn off your phone. plug in the usb cable into your mobile (not into the pc yet)!!!! now hold the back button and dont take your finger off it until the flashing process starts. Now insert the cable into the pc. the led in your mobile should turn green. and the flashing process should start. elease your finger from the back button and relax. your phone would be brought back to life in a matter of 2 to 3 mins.
Step 12: Finally it would ask you to remove the phone and switch it on and enable usb debugging etc.
Step 13: Un plug the cable and switch on the phone. The first boot up would be slow. so be patient. it will be stuck on the green sony ericsson logo sometimes. just tap the power button once. it would solve the problem and the device would vibrate once in order to indicate the device has succesfully booted. Voila you have unbricked your phone.
